Peling


At 6800 Ft. in West Sikkim Peling is very popular to the tourists. World's third highest peak Kanchenjunga can be viewed beautifully from here. Peling has three parts upper middle and lower. You can reach here by car from Gangtok or, NJP. It is 120- 130 Km drive from both the places.

The places to see from Peling are 300 years old Pemanyangtse Monastery, Khechiperi Lake, Rimbi and Change Falls. These place can be covered in one day by hiring a car locally. You can also visit Yoksum, the first capital of Sikkim situated at a distance of 34 Km. from here.

From Yoksum trek to Jongri and Gochala, which can be your dream experience of life.Moutain peaks are so close from here, it seems that you can touch them!

In the north of Peling, Singshor bridge, second highest bridge in Asia is about 30 Km from Peling can be visited if you have spare time. From here only you can go to the beautiful village Te. From this spot there are many famous trek route starts.
