On the way from Bikaner to Jodhpur you must stop and see Karni mata temple at Deshnok. It is 32 Km from Bikaner. Karni mata is believed to be one more form of Devi Durga. The temple is made fully by marble and all the doors are made of pure silver. It was built by Maharaja Gangasingh. However, the main attraction of the temple are inneumerable rats roaming freely inside the temple even on the idol itself. They drink milk kept for them and never bites! Amazingly there are no foul smell as may be expected from so many of them.
